Terms of service
These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Karv (“the App”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms apply whenever you create an account, access, or use Karv. They also work together with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Karv.
If you are under 18, you may use the App only with consent from a parent or legal guardian.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password or let anyone else use your account.
If you think your account has been compromised, contact us as soon as possible.
4. Your data
Karv stores the data you create in the App, such as time sessions, notes, and related metadata. You keep ownership of the content you add to Karv.
By using the App, you give us a limited right to store, process, and display that data only as needed to run and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for illegal activities or to violate others’ rights.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or its infrastructure.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the system.
Karv is designed for individual productivity use, not for abusive, disruptive, or automated bulk activity.
6. Service providers
We rely on trusted service providers, including Supabase and Amazon Web Services (AWS), to help us run and deliver the App.
7. Availability and changes
We strive to keep Karv online and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
We may change, update, or discontinue parts of the App at any time.
8. Beta disclaimer
Karv is an evolving service and may include experimental features. That means bugs, interruptions, or rough edges may still happen.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or if we stop offering the service.
You may delete your account at any time. Any related data will be handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we do not make promises or warranties about reliability, availability, security, or fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Karv and its developers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or inability to access it.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland and the European Union.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved by the competent courts in Poland.
